Widening the reach for talented artists
Worthing-based Two Faced Twins, a talented artistic duo comprising identical twin sisters Gemma Miles-Wilson and Stella Stevens, were already making great waves in their business when they came to Hollands Associates. But the women wanted to expand their reach beyond the borders of Sussex, to help increase awareness of their work on a national level.
Our work
Hello media!
Through making national lifestyle journalists aware of the Two Faced Twins’ beautiful offering of wall art and homeware, we were able to put them on the map on a national level. We press released products to contribute to features, and worked with the twins to identify their personal journeys that we pitched to our target media outlets.
People for podcasts
We researched the best podcasts for Two Faced Twins to be featured, both at home and abroad, and created bespoke pitches for each, highlighting the topics the artists could talk about that would be of great interest to the podcasts’ audiences.
The celebrity treatment
By working with our media contacts, we explored media interview opportunities for Two Faced Twins, which could see them being featured in prime pages of prominent media titles.
Event support
Leading up to Two Faced Twins’ annual gallery summer open evening, we identified influential figures and key members of the community to invite. We liaised with the invitees ahead of the event to maximise attendance and post event publicity.
The results
A new level of recognition
From month one of the campaign, Two Faced Twins enjoyed positive publicity across a wide range of national – and even international – media, putting the artists’ name in front of millions of potential and existing customers.
Within the first 6 months, Stella and Gemma were booked to speak on podcasts in the UK and US, and had received significant exposure on ITV and in the Telegraph, Woman’s Own, Prima, Chat magazine, Sussex Life, Bournefree magazine and regional press.
With a host of further publicity in the pipeline, the twins are looking forward to a new year full of media opportunities!
