Media training
Do the words ‘TV interview’ strike fear into your heart? Or perhaps you’re confident around cameras but need help with digital media formats such as podcasting or social media?
Whatever your level of experience, we can sharpen your skills.
Tailored training to suit your needs
Founded on tried and tested principles, our media training is designed to educate and inspire. At the end of the session, you’ll have a clear sense of what makes a good media interview, common mistakes to avoid, and better insight into the journalistic process.
We can tailor modules to reflect your organisation and the message you need to get across. You might be launching a new campaign, responding to a news story, or firefighting a crisis. We’ll help to ensure you always appear professional while delivering your message with clarity and authority.

Media training for groups or individuals
We can deliver 1-2-1 or group sessions either in person or online. Coaching can be one-off or ongoing as your business grows and new spokespeople come on board. We also offer refresher training for those who know the ropes but would benefit from a reminder.
In the session you’ll learn about the art and science of effective communication. But we’ll go way beyond the theory. Mock interview exercises will put you on the spot, giving you the opportunity to hone your skills in a supportive yet challenging environment.

Special guests
On request, we can bring in guests from the media to share insights and expertise. For example BBC football commentator Steve Wilson, who has worked for local and national radio stations and now broadcasts to millions every weekend on Match of the Day.
Our close connections with TV and radio news reporters and magazine feature writers means we have unique access to current journalists who will host mock interviews with your team.
